On February 3, the resolution of the national patent application for the new medical device, KronoSafe®, was published. With this system, ICU Medical Technologies will be the first company with a temporary cardiac pacing system with active-fixation leads.
Also, ICU Medical Technologies has received the International Search Report with a favourable result for all the claims presented. This resolution of the PCT patent system specifies that KronoSafe® is a novel system, which involves an inventive step and has sufficient industrial application to continue its worldwide protection.
In this way, the Spanish startup will soon begin expanding its patent in strategic countries.
